The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled and the finish on the neck waxed. However I cleaned the metal and that looks great. This is a parts banjo that does have some wear also. The back of the resonator has a lot of button scratching and the neck has a repair on each side under the headstock. This also includes a deluxe, thick padded gig bag. This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell with a 1950’s Gibson RB100 resonator and a 1992 Gibson RB250 neck. I want to be upfront and say that this is no mastertone but for the price this is a great buy with some solid tone. This is a parts banjo that happens to have some pretty good Gibson parts.
